Terms of Use of Slow SPA

FUTATABI FUTABA FUKUSHIMA (hereinafter referred to as the “Hotel”) has established these Terms of Use for the Slow SPA operated by the Hotel (hereinafter referred to as the “Facility”), under the provisions set forth below, in accordance with Article 11 of the Terms and Conditions of Accommodation Contracts, in order to ensure the safe and comfortable use of the Facility by the Hotel guests. We ask for your cooperation in abiding by these Terms of Use.

Hours of Operation

6:00-9:30 (last entry time: 9:00)

15:00-22:00 (last entry time: 21:30)

<User>

  1. The Facility is available only to the guests staying at the Hotel
  2. The Hotel guests may use the Facility (except for the bathhouse) while wearing the comfortable clothes and slippers provided in their rooms. However, please refrain from using such clothes and slippers in other floors.
  3. The bathhouse is a common area for both men and women. Therefore, please be sure to wear a swimsuit in the bathhouse. Please also refrain from wearing anything other than swimsuits, rash guards, and ponchos provided.
  4. In the Facility the Hotel staff conducts patrol inspection and cleaning. During these inspections, we may ask you and confirm your room number and name.
  5. Those to whom any of following items applies shall not use the Facility:
    • (1) those who are an organized crime group or other anti-social forces or related persons thereof;
    • (2) those with tattoos or other similar stickers;
    • (3) those who are suspected of having an infectious disease or those who are prohibited from bathing by a doctor;
    • (4) those who are menstruating, those who are not feeling well, those who are drunk, those who speak or behave in a way that offends other guests, those having difficulty in using the Facility alone without a caregiver;
    • (5) those who bring in dangerous items (glasses, bottles, metal objects, blades, flammable objects, explosives);
    • (6) those who are in violation of the Terms and Conditions for Accommodation Contracts or any other terms of use.
  6. Children of the opposite sex who are allowed to enter the changing room must be 6 years old or younger.
  7. Children under elementary school attendance age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. To prevent accidents, we ask that parents keep an eye on their children at all times.
  8. Please refrain from using the Facility while wearing diapers.

<Safety and health>

  1. Smoking is prohibited within the Facility.
  2. Please refrain from wearing glasses, sunglasses, or accessories in the bathtub or sauna. Please note that the Hotel will not be held responsible for any deterioration or damage to these items.
  3. Please be careful as the bathhouse is very slippery.
  4. Use of any footwear is prohibited in the bathhouse and the changing room.
  5. Do not put into the bathtub any foreign objects or items with an unpleasant odor, such as soap, body wash, shampoo, or bath salts.
  6. If you see anyone who appears unwell, please inform our staff.

<Management of Valuables and Keys>

  1. Please store your valuables in the locker or use the safe in your room.
  2. Please strictly keep and manage your locker key at your own responsibility. If it is lost or damaged, you may be required to pay a reasonable amount of compensation.
  3. Please note that the Hotel will not be held responsible for any loss or theft of valuables.

<Manners>

  1. Please be sure to wash your body in the shower, etc. before bathing.
  2. Do not bathe with oil, sunscreen, or other substances on your body that may impair the water quality.
  3. Please always use the toilet for urination and defecation.
  4. Please refrain from occupying shower rooms or chairs, or using facilities for a long time as this may cause inconvenience to other guests. Please share with others when using the facilities during busy times.
  5. We may take away stuff that has been left unattended for a long period of time.
  6. Do not put towels or hair in the bathtub.
  7. Hair dyeing is prohibited in the changing room and the bathhouse.
  8. Please wipe your body thoroughly before entering the changing room from the bathhouse.
  9. Please do not run or make noise within the Facility.

<Use of Sauna>

  1. Please be sure to wash your body in the shower, etc. before and after using the sauna.
  2. Please use the sauna according to your physical condition and do not overdo it.
  3. Please share the space with others in the sauna.
  4. Please be sure to stay hydrated when using the sauna.
  5. Please refrain from bringing in electronic devices such as mobile phones and cameras, newspapers and magazines, etc.
  6. The sauna stones are auto-löyly heated, so please do not pour water on them as this may cause malfunctions.
  7. If you intentionally damage the equipment, we will charge you the actual repair costs.
  8. Please refrain from talking loudly or causing a nuisance to other guests.
  9. Please refrain from using the sauna under the influence of alcohol.
  10. If you feel unwell, please inform a nearby staff or press the emergency button inside the sauna room.

<Prohibited Acts>

  1. Please refrain from jumping into the bathtub or swimming as this will cause inconvenience to other guests.
  2. Taking photos with mobile phones, cameras, etc. is prohibited in the changing rooms.
  3. Cameras and mobile phones are strictly prohibited underwater.
  4. Please do not enter staff-only areas without permission.

<Other Notes>

  1. Please do not bring food or drinks into the Facility. However, you may bring in a bottle of drink with a lid for hydration.
  2. You may bring your mobile phone into the bathhouse (excluding the sauna), but please refrain from recording other guests’ images or causing any inconvenience to them.
  3. There is always a possibility of water leakage in the bathhouse. Please be careful in managing delicate devices, including cell phones, and your belongings. Please manage them at your own responsibility.
  4. Please do not take home any towels, ponchos, towel bags and other equipment.
  5. If you are in violation of these Terms of Use or are deemed by our staff to cause a nuisance to other guests, please immediately stop conducting the act concerned in accordance with their instructions. If you do not follow instructions, you may be asked to leave the Facility.
  6. If you do not leave the Facility despite instructions from staff, we may report to the police or other relevant authorities. Please note that no fees will be refunded.
  7. In the event of bad weather or strong winds, the outdoor area may be closed.
  8. Please note that the Hotel will not bear any responsibility for any accident or trouble between guests that may occur in relation to the use of the Facility.
  9. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or operational necessity, the Facility may not be available for use.
  10. In the event of an emergency requiring evacuation, please stay calm and follow the announcements made within the building and instructions from staff.
  11. Matters not provided in these Terms of Use shall be governed by the Hotel’s Terms and Conditions for Accommodation Contracts.
  12. These Terms of Use may be subject to change at any time.
